Vance and Hines Fuelpak 3 California CARB For Harley CAN Bus The Vance & Hines Fuel Pack FP3 brings top level tuning right to your finger tips with its revolutionary Bluetooth connectivity. The FP3 California is an ECM flash tuner that has been listed by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) as an exempt aftermarket part under Executive Order No. D-632-2. Under the grant of this EO, the Fuelpak FP3 California is permitted for sale and use on HDLAN (CAN bus) Harley-Davidson models including Touring, Softail, Dyna, Sportster and Street models in the state of California. Maps are only available for CARB approved exhaust and intake upgrades or parts that have been issued a CARB EO. Certain tuning parameters are restricted to ensure California emissions standards compliance. FP3 connects wirelessly by Bluetooth to iPhone and Android smartphones and recalibrates engine parameters without increasing vehicle emissions. Key features that are tunable with FP3 are Throttle Progressivity (for throttle-by-wire models) and Engine Rev Limit. Other tuning parameters are limited to adjustment in higher RPM and throttle position ranges only. While the FP-3 is plugged in, you can view live sensor data on your smartphone or tablet. Choose to display speed, RPM, fuel economy, power, torque, cylinder head temperature, gear selection, voltage, speedometer calibration and other pertinent information, all on the free Vance and Hines application. You even have the ability to check and clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes all with the FP-3.
