External leather reinforcements run the length of the pants from the inner knee down to the ankle to add further ruggedness. Scorpion's NightViz reflectivity was added at the pant cuff and higher on the thigh to increase night time visibility, and upper thigh vents and vents at the back of the leg move warm air out and cooler air through.
