The jacket features a combination of 1680 denier nylon on the forearms, elbows and shoulders and 500 denier nylon for the body combined with a breathable waterproof membrane laminated to the body. There are vents at the upper arms, biceps, side of the body, back and kidney to flow cooler air in and exhaust warm air out and the jacket features 4 waterproof pockets that are sealed seam and 4 internal pockets, as well as several additional stash pockets. CE approved Sas-Tec CE Armor ships with the jacket at the elbows and shoulders, and a CE Level 2 Sas-Tec back protector and CP-1 chest protector is also included with the jacket to provide an extremely high level of impact protection.
