Constructed of 100 waxed cotton canvas and fortified by D3O armor in the shoulders, elbows and back, the Armored Flight Jacket is prepared for takeoff. An intelligent shock absorbing material, D3O combines enhanced chemistry with product engineering to produce a highly protective and flexible piece of armor. D3O is made up of sensitive molecules which move loosely under normal terms, making it both comfortable and flexible. On sudden impact, such as a crash, the molecules band together to absorb energy instantly. The armor then returns to its original state and can be used again and again without compromise. Note: We have found the Saint Armored Flight Jacket to run small and suggest going up if you are between sizes.
