Klock Werks Flare Windshield For Harley Road Glide Born from a racer's needs, the Flare Windshield is a purpose built shield meant to solve the issues of instability at high speeds. The Flare is the original motorcycle windshield of its kind, and has surprised riders everywhere with not only how great it looks, but also with how well it performs. It has brought Klock Werks to the top of the list, when it comes to high quality, well designed windscreens. The innovative patented design features hips on the outer edges that route wind away from the rider while creating additional downforce on the front end of the motorcycle. This was developed for high speed record attempts in Bonneville, but its design proved to be unsurpassed for the average street rider, as well. This results in a significant improvement in wind deflection and front end stability at highway speeds as opposed to a stock type windshield. The flip at the top of the Flare is designed to reduce buffeting by kicking the wind up and allowing it to flow back as clean, less turbulent air for the rider. It offers wind protection equivalent to a standard shield measured at about 2 taller. Features: The Klock Werks Pro-Touring Flare is 15 tall and provides a wider, more full-coverage option for riders and passengers that prefer an even greater amount of wind deflection for the long haul, while still stylish enough to use around town The Klock Werks Sport Flare is 14 tall and more streamlined with radical curves and a sportier stance - it complements the lines of the new fairing with a more aggressive profile and aids stability and handling with improved air management The Flare's patented hips on the sides provides downforce for added stability while the flip on top directs air up so it flows back to rider and passenger as clean, less turbulent air Dark Smoke color option is very similar to factory Road Glide Special windshield color Tint color option is much lighter than Dark Smoke (but not clear) Choose a height that you can comfortably see over Made in the USA
