They are constructed of a 64 strand stainless steel braid with a PTFE 62 Teflon inner lining giving them a zero expansion effect, this gives the rider a more consistent and confident braking feel. Most manufacturers recommend replacing the OEM rubber brake lines after 2 to 3 years. Over extended use OEM rubber lines wear down and lose performance. Features: Galfer Brake Lines offer a great improvement in feel over stock OEM rubber brake lines. If you have properly bled your brakes yet still have a spongy feel, Galfer braided stainless lines may firm things up. Galfer lines make a big difference for both daily riders and seasoned track junkies.
