AltRider Lexan Headlight Guard Kit BMW R9T / Scrambler / Pure Having a layer of protection in front of your headlight can go a long way. An AltRider Headlight Guard is made from polycarbonate the same material used in bulletproof windows. This Lexan panel secures to a stainless steel frame using ball-and-socket fasteners that enable easy removal for cleaning. The 3/16 polycarbonate lens provides total coverage from impact without interfering with light output. The simple circular guard matches the bikes round headlight, and the laser cut stainless steel carrier mounts to OEM points with additional hardware included. Features: All AltRider motorcycle accessories are 100 designed and manufactured in the USA Polycarbonate face extremely resistant to cracks or scratches Stainless steel frame provides strong foundation Highly resistant to rust and weathering Note: While polycarbonate is an incredibly tough material, chemical based cleaners will rapidly break down the material (ex. alcohol, Windex, etc). This is same case for your visor on your helmet. Only warm water and mild soap should be used to clean the polycarbonate headlight guard.
