The AltRider Crash Bars are designed for the impact load to be transferred to the frame, not the hardware. Unlike steel powder coated products, the AltRider stainless crash bars won't ever rust, even after they are scratched. Installation is easy since the bars bolt on quickly using existing mounts. These crash bars match seamlessly with the AltRider aluminum skid plate for the ultimate protection combination. Features: 1 diameter stainless steel with a wall thickness of 0.082 Hand TIG welded for additional strength and craftsmen beauty All coping is cut on 5 axis laser for perfect fit which means coping does not need to be filled with excessive welding that can cause excessive head leading to distorted bars Designed to follow the frame closely to provide the most knee and leg clearance Unique upper mounts provide good clearance for the riders need, and no exposed fasteners Stainless steel hardware Full coverage of the radiator, fairings and tank
