AltRider Crash Bars for BMW F800GS These premium crash bars, drawn from stainless steel tubing, protect your engine casing and plastics from the wrath of the road or trail. The AltRider Crash Bars are designed for the impact load to be transferred to the frame, not the hardware. Unlike steel powder coated products, the AltRider stainless crash bars won't ever rust, even after they are scratched. Installation is easy since the bars bolt on quickly using existing mounts. These crash bars match seamlessly with the AltRider aluminum skid plate for the ultimate protection combination. Features: Stainless T-304 construction Hand TIG welding 1 inch diameter tubing for strength Comes with the fasteners needed for the bottom mounts Height: 13 inches Width: 20 inches Depth: 13 inches Weight: 10 lbs Note: Your T50 socket must be able to fit inside a 0.7 ID tube 1 deep. All drive sockets will be too big to fit, as will some 3/8 drive sockets. An L-handle T-50 key is the easiest solution.
