AltRider Clutch Side Engine Case Cover KTM 1290 Super Adventure An all too common occurrence when your bike goes down on the right side is to have the rear brake lever bend in and contact the bike. With the location of the crank case on the KTM 1290 Super Adventure, there is a real danger of the brake lever tip or even large debris actually damaging the crank case. This is where the AltRider Crank Case Cover for the KTM 1290 Super Adventure saves the day. The Crank Case Cover is made from a single piece of 3.2mm (1/8 in.) aluminum. Rubber backers spread the load of impact, as well as allow the cover to maintain a low profile. Flush stainless steel fasteners and a deburred product prevent snagging or getting caught on your boots and pants. The design of the cover also incorporates the ingenuity of the AltRider Brake Lever Shield, which stops the riders boot from accidentally activating the rear brake. An outward flange prevents accidental engagement of the break arm while still providing a surface to properly hug the bike with your foot, all without interrupting any feel or ergonomics.
