Bolton gas tanks for XL models are made of heavygauge steel with reinforced seams Come complete with extrastrong mounting tabs 2.9gallon tanks are 2 inch wider than stock tanks 3.3gallon tanks have hightunnel design so they add fuel capacity without looking tall 3.3gallon tanks may require seat nose modifications PART DS391220 uses a 38 inch NPT petcock,all others use 22 mm petcocks sold separately later in this sectionNote: When this gas tank is installed on 92 and later models and the Original Equipment continuous venting system is eliminated or disconnected,you may not reuse your stock vented cap,but may replace it with an earlier version of the screwtype caps.Note: 8694 tanks have petcocks on the right side,9503 tanks have petcock on left side.
